Mukilteo Lacrosse

Dear Mukilteo Lacrosse Families:

The 2010 season is upon us and while we are gearing up for that, we are also gearing up for our annual auction.  This year’s auction is scheduled for May 1, 2010 at the Mukilteo Boys & Girls Club.  We are hoping everyone will join us for not only a fun evening, but an important endeavor for our club. 

Due to our national economy we have a large number of players requesting financial aid.  Fundraising is critical this year, more than ever, as we do not want to turn any player away regardless of their ability to pay.  Also, we want to continue to develop the club, coaches, and players so we maintain a competitive edge.  In order to do that we must utilize fundraising as an avenue for those in need, training equipment, field rentals and coaches training.

In recognition of the economy, the board has chosen to keep the overall costs down for the auction and focus on the actual fundraising efforts.  In keeping with the KISS (keep-it-simple-stupid) philosophy we are hoping to concentrate on everyday items that we all need, as well as include some items of extravagance.  Also, as has been done in the past, each team will put a themed basket together to be auctioned off.       

We are requesting all families consider contributing and/or soliciting items, services or cash donations from local businesses for the auction.  Attached are the following documents to be used during fundraising:

·Mukilteo Auction Contribution Form  – This can be used for items, services, or cash donations.  Remember we are a 501 (c)(3) nonprofit and all donations are tax deductible

·Mukilteo LAX Procurement Letter – If you are soliciting donations from a local business please use this letter as a formal communication on behalf of the club for our fundraising efforts

·Hot Auction Items – Please review this document to facilitate creative ideas for the auction

 As the auction gets closer we will continue to communicate on special auction items, or guest appearances, that will hopefully entice you to participate in our best auction ever!

The 2010 Mukilteo Lacrosse Season is underway!

The Mukilteo Lacrosse Club runs a Youth program, a High School program, and added a Girls High School program in 2009.

The Youth program consists of a 3rd & 4th grade team, 5th & 6th grade teams, and 7th and 8th grade teams. At the High School level there is a Varsity squad, a Junior Varsity squad, and a Freshman & Sophomore Team. 2009 was the inaugural season for our Girls team.
